The Diamond Trip

On June 15-21, qualified Diamond leaders were whisked away from their homes to Atlantis® Paradise Island, the world-renowned resort of The Bahamas for an all-expense paid trip for two. So what did paradise look like for these deserving Diamonds?

Day 1 - Arriving at Atlantis

Traveling across the country was worth it for these Diamond leaders as they arrived to bright blue skies, warm Bahamian breezes and friendly island hospitality. Diamonds were comforted in their flights by the travelers kit sent in advance - a neck pillow and fleece eye mask ensured these leaders were able to hit the runway rested and ready to make the most of Atlantis. Ushered to their limousines upon arrival, Diamonds made an entrance at the Royal Towers, the most elegant and luxuriously appointed tower at the resort, featuring the finest views.

Dinner that night was at the Bahamian Club, an elegant and intimate eatery offering exceptional dining and service. After a gourmet feast highlighted by great company, Diamonds returned to their rooms to discover totes filled with summertime essentials for the trip, including sunscreen, t-shirts, flip-flops and more.

Day 2 - Exploring Maritime Wonderlands

Atlantis is renowned for its ability to meld the land and sea in harmony. With 34 acres of waterscape, a myriad of aquariums, pools, lagoons and white sand beaches beckon. These provide a unique glimpse into maritime wonders. At "The Dig", Diamonds were able to tour the marine habitats and get up close to over 200 different species of sea animals including eels, stingray, grouper, snapper, tuna and more. Predator Lagoon offered a clear underwater tunnel to keep an eye on the sharks and barracudas.

This was also the day many Diamond leaders were introduced to Dolphins. Embarking to Blue Lagoon Island, leaders entered waist deep water where they could touch, feed and interact with these wonderful marine animals.

That night, dinner was served next to a floor-to-ceiling aquarium illuminated to show the graceful rays and other fish as they swam by.

Day 3 - Nassau, here we come...

On Saturday, it was off to Nassau to take in the local culture. First up was Junkanoo Festival, the local fish-fry where Bahamian cuisine reigns with cooking demonstrations and native dishes. From there, it was on to the Straw Market where haggling for bargains is considered a rite of passage. Just steps away from the market, duty-free shops offer premier jewelry and purses.

That evening, Diamond leaders returned to Nassau to dine at Graycliff's. A sophisticated gathering spot for the rich and famous, Graycliff's is the only five-star restaurant in the region. Located in a 260-year-old mansion, it is recognized as one of the most distinctive dining rooms in the world. In a private dining room, Diamonds savored a five-course gourmet meal, washed down with selections from Graycliff's estimated $20 million wine cellar. It was an unforgettable evening.

Day 4 - A day of rest (at the spa)

It was Father's Day and many of our Diamond leaders had brought their children along to share in the trip. After a traditional Bahamian Sunday Brunch in downtown Nassau, the evening was free for family get-togethers. Many spent the day pampering at the spa. Atlantis features the renowned Mandara Spa, bringing ancient techniques from Asia, traditional European spa therapies and natural spices, fruits and minerals indigenous to The Bahamas together to provide the ultimate experience. Massages, facials, scrubs and wraps were among the many services leaders succumbed to.

That night, 100 percent sand-washed herringbone silk camp shirts embroidered with the Waiora logo were delivered to each room, offering the ultimate in island style and comfort.

Day 5 - Getting down to business

On Monday morning, Diamond leaders were invited to a meeting hosted by Stan Cherelstein and Eddie Stone. Here, leaders received exclusive updates on every area of the business and participated in open discussions on exciting developments coming in the months ahead. Conversations continued poolside in the afternoon.

That evening, it was a stroll to the marina of Atlantis, passing the multi-million dollar yachts on our way to the Seafire Steakhouse where the finest cuts of meat and superb seafood waited.

Day 6 - Having it all

The day started early with many Diamond leaders taking to the high seas for deep sea fishing. They returned victorious, with tales of battles fought with huge fish (and some caught). Undoubtedly, there were some that got away.

The afternoon was filled with all that Atlantis had to offer - pools, lagoons and infamous water slides. The trip was not complete without venturing down the "Leap of Faith" a 60-foot near vertical descent through a shark-filled tunnel!

The finale dinner was hosted at Fathoms, surrounded by aquariums and sea animals; it was the perfect setting for great conversations, fun and laughter. To give an inside look at the highlights and special memories from the trip, Diamond leaders wrote postcards from paradise. Here's a selection...

Postcards from Paradise

David Kaplowitz

"Nothing can describe what it's like to have a luxurious vacation such as the Diamond Trip paid for by the company. Among the highlights were swimming with Dolphins, sumptuous meals at four and five-star restaurants and a four-hour spa treatment that relaxed every muscle in my body. I would encourage everyone to work hard to achieve the next trip. Not only will it be a luxurious departure from everyday living, it will also be a chance to share and develop wonderful friendships and business relationships that will last a lifetime. Thank you Waiora!"

Rick Jerrells

"My wife says the Diamond Trip is "the best trip she's been on" that was all paid for! The highlight of the trip was spending time and getting to know some of the good people out in the field. It was definitely worth working hard for a seven day vacation such as this!"

Marcy Littlejohn

"Wow! We were treated to the finest of everything at the finest place in the world. We loved every minute spent by the pool and every minute spent with the owners and leadership of Waiora. Watching the faces of our children as we rode Jet Ski's around the resort, the time my daughter and I spent with the Dolphins, or when Chip and our son went scuba-diving are some of the wonderful memories we shared. Waiora has created a new category of reward trip and the best way to learn about it is to experience it. Do whatever it takes to get up the mountain - the view from the top is worth it!"
