Alan Ho
Alan Ho has always been a leader, not a follower. He led the way in the competitive world of high-end fashion, becoming a famous designer that Hong Kong's glitterati turned to when they needed to look their best. And when Hong Kong faced an economic downturn, he became a pioneer once again - making a bold decision to leave the fashion world and embrace a new career in network marketing.
Alan points out that "the only aspect of my fashion career that I didn't like was the lack of leveraged income. Like everyone else, I was exchanging time for money. That is why network marketing was an attractive opportunity."
Like his previous endeavors, Alan embraced the networking industry and set about making it his own. During his eight years with his first networking company, he broke five records as its number one Hong Kong distributor. In the process, he gained renown and respect within the business community. In 2004, Alan was recognized by the China Commerce Department as one of the Top 50 Chinese Leaders and in 2005 by the Chinese magazine Economic Knowledge as a Top 10 MLM Chinese Influential Leader.
According to Alan, with leadership comes responsibility for your actions. "If you want a successful life you will face difficult decisions. It was a big decision to leave my fashion career and start over from zero, but I look back on that decision with no regret and knowing that what I did was right." In 2005, Alan faced another big decision - he left the networking company he had been with, creating headlines in the Asia business world. "Life can be unpredictable", says Alan, "but I know that challenges are a part of the journey of life and that I will grow stronger and be even more successful than before."
Following his departure from his previous network marketing company, Alan found himself inundated with invitations to join other companies. But to Alan, this was not a decision to be taken lightly. "There are a lot of people who fail in this industry because they choose the wrong company. It's not just your time that is wasted but it is also the loss of your reputation to your friends and business associates. Network marketing is a people business," says Alan.
Alan combined his caution to proceed with detailed research on each of the companies. His friends Godfrey Chan and Alex Sun (Waiora General Manager of Greater China Markets) introduced him to Waiora. Alan realized that he had found a new partner.

With the task of researching and selecting the right company behind him, Alan was ready to move forward and lead the way for his organization. "After you chose a company to partner with, you must then put 100 percent effort and passion into it, never wavering. Focus on achieving your goals." So what goals does Alan have for his partnership with Waiora? Alan has a clear vision in mind. "While personal success is important I know that real success in this industry comes from helping more people achieve their goals. My goal is to create more success stories in my organization. Therefore, I created a system that helps my organization to duplicate my success. We have a common vision and dream and we know we can achieve it."
Already, Alan is seeing these efforts pay off. He is the first Asia leader to achieve the rank of Diamond, and in January 2007, Alan was present at the Hong Kong office opening, celebrating a new chapter in Waiora's global expansion, with his seven Emerald leaders by his side.
Success is also bringing personal rewards. "Because of Waiora I am able to travel more with my family and share more time with them. It's also rewarding to see many of my leaders enjoying their success with Waiora, both through health and wealth."
