Darlene Schneider
After graduating from college, I got married right away, started a family and I had two wonderful daughters, Alissa and Malia. It was important to me to stay at home, to be present throughout their childhood, to create a warm and loving environment, and to be actively involved in their education and upbringing. At the same time, I wanted to keep active, to be more than just 'mom'. After reviewing my vocational options, the concept of network marketing intrigued me.
My first experience was a disaster and I swore I would never do network marketing again. However, having a firm belief in the industry made me certain that a good company with strong, experienced management and a great product and marketing plan would surface.
One night, I was taking a relaxing bath thinking about a company that would have these remarkable qualities. I was expecting my daughter to call so when the phone rang I quickly answered it. Instead of Alissa, it was my good friend Tari (he and I had been searching for the "right" company and had promised to let each other know when it was found). Tari was so excited! He said, "I found the one, what are you doing? Can you listen to a conference call?" I said, "I'm in the bathtub." He said, "That's O.K. I'll three-way you in." Before I could say a word, I was on the call. So my first conference call was while I was in the tub. That has been the best bath of my life!
With my background in science, I had no doubts that Natural Cellular Defense was that great product I was searching for. Plus, no other company has NCD! I learned about the marketing plan and in less than 24 hours I was IN! In a few short days, the NCD proved to be a miracle for me. I had a tooth that was giving me trouble and started to abscess. Within 4 days of taking NCD the swelling was down 30 percent and in 8 days it was down 90 percent. This is a blessing for me because I had no desire to subject myself to the harmful effects of antibiotics.
My success with the business can be attributed to teamwork. Gary Danko, Tari Steward and I are in constant communication, strategizing to achieve our goals and those of our team. We use each individual's strength to benefit the group. It's important to be both a follower and a leader…a follower of your upline and a leader to your downline.
After attending the conference in Dallas, I came away knowing that I am in the right place with the right people. I am impressed by the quality that is present throughout every aspect of the organization - distributor leaders, doctors, professionals, corporate support and customer service. We were all working and having FUN! That's the lifestyle I want. Working from home is a pleasure. My goals are to help myself and others to be healthy, achieve financial freedom, as well as the freedom to be in control of our lives while making our dreams come true.
