Donna ValdesLike many moms, I was working in the corporate world and facing difficult choices. I have two small children and found myself organizing pre-care, day-care and after-care for my kids. They were getting everyone else's care except mine. I wanted them to spend their time with me. I received a call from John Haremza telling me that I had to take a look at Waiora, a ground-floor opportunity founded by Stan Cherelstein and Eddie Stone.

Stan, Eddie and Rik Deitsch (Chairman of Waiora's Scientific Advisory Board) are renowned within the network marketing industry for their ethics and integrity, so I had to take a look. It's the people behind the company that make or break the opportunity. I went to a Waiora conference and came away with a firm belief in the company, products and opportunity. So much so that on my way back from the conference on the plane, I called my boss and resigned!

Even so, this has not been a straight or short path to success. In June of last year, I started experiencing serious health challenges and had to undergo multiple surgeries and treatments. Finally in January, I received a clean bill of health from my doctors. I am very thankful for Natural Cellular Defense for the manner in which it helped to detoxify my systems after all those treatments. I felt as though a haze lifted and I could refocus.

In December of last year, I finished the month as Gold with about 3,000 in volume. In January, I was now healthy and ready to restart my Waiora business. Opportunity knocks but doesn't wake the sleeping. I sought out industry training, underwent personal growth and went to work sharing the opportunity with others. My 'internal heart switch' was flipped to 'on' - the more I shared it with others, the more excited I became and the more I believed in myself. Nothing fuels a business faster than positive product experiences. Last month my team volume had grown more than 50 fold. It's been a great ride! My upline support of Barbara, Dean, Mickey and John have been wonderful to work with.

For those new to Waiora, I would share this insight: I believe the main reason people fail or quit anything in life is because the experience didn't meet their expectation. The same holds true for Waiora. If expectations are not met, frustration will set in. That's why it's crucial to make your expectations known to your upline so everyone's on the same page. From there, be prepared and willing to hear what you need to do to make it happen. Then go for it! You are worthy of it - you deserve the success and to make your dreams come true.

If I could share one tip with everyone it would be to stop thinking that Natural Cellular Defense is your product. I am not a salesperson. People are my product. This industry is founded on relationships. Viewing people as the product helps to shift the focus from what-can-you-do-for-me to a service attitude of what-can-I-do-for-you. Sharing Waiora becomes natural then and more importantly, by focusing on helping others financial success soon follows.

My goal now is to enjoy life and my family, and cherish the time we have together. As John Haremza says "most of us tip-toe our way through life to reach death safely." I want to live life to the fullest, and Waiora helps make that possible. Most of all, I just want to keep doing what I'm doing, sharing with others and building teams not only in the US, but around the world as we open new markets.

Because of Waiora, I no longer have to choose between my family and my job. I no longer have to juggle corporate life and squeeze in family time. I am now my children's after-care program. I have my wonderful family and I'm building an incredible business. I can have it all!
