Jerry Botto
I've always wanted to be in business for myself, so much so that I quit high school after the 10th grade and have worked for myself ever since. Although my academic schooling ended after the 10th grade, I have made a large investment of time and money on personal growth and development. Over the years, I have learned several principles in business that led me to Waiora.
First, timing is everything. You can do it all wrong when the timing is right and still succeed. On the other hand, when the timing has passed, you're history! It seems that I always found out about opportunities after everyone else was already involved. I am excited to have found a solid 2-year-old company that no one knows about yet that is just starting to experience exponential growth.
Second, don't trade time for money. It doesn't matter if you earn $5 per hour or $500; there are only so many hours in the day, so you are capping your income. A linear income is also at risk because it is dependant solely on one person's efforts. If you stop, your income stops. The solution is duplication. You need to generate income through the efforts of others if you want to have both time freedom and money. Waiora's business model allows for incredible duplication without the traditional employee nightmare.
Third, I learned the importance of marketing consumable products. I have built two large distributor organizations with non-consumable products only to see them evaporate over time because they didn't have the support of products that were reordered every month. Not only are Waiora's products consumable, but they are having profound life-changing effects on people. My business is growing rapidly, but it is extremely stable because it is based on a product people don't want to be without.
Finally, I have learned that the level of your success is in direct proportion to the contribution you are willing to make to help others succeed. From the moment I was introduced to Waiora, it was clear that everyone from the top down valued this principle. Waiora will become a billion dollar company because its "give not take" philosophy, high ethics and focus on developing compassionate leadership are an ingrained part of the company's culture.
Since this is a business built on duplication, I use a very simple system (not my gift of gab) to share Waiora with others. With excitement and conviction, I introduce my prospects to powerful information that is accessible to everyone and use three-way calling with members of the team to answer their questions, share stories and to show the support that is available to them.
The most important tool that you can build your business with is your own compelling Waiora product and business success story. The best formula for creating a fast compelling story is: massive action = massive results. The most important activity in our business is prospecting. Do it every day. Prospecting large numbers of people allows your business to grow quickly, giving you an attractive story to tell and it allows you to distance yourself emotionally from your prospect's response. In other words, you have so many people to follow up with that when you get a "no" you don't have time to care. Some join immediately and others take some time, and for these I just keep sending them information that may strike a cord with them in time. This non-pressure approach allows them to get excited and want to share the business with others.
There isn't one thing that I would want to change about Waiora. Waiora is my dream company. It is the first network marketing company that I have had real confidence in. In other companies there were good things, but there were also gaping holes in areas that made you wonder if what you were building would last. I have a peace of mind here that is making this opportunity truly fun. It is also enjoyable to have so many great partners to learn from and to work with like Eddie Stone, John Haremza, Mickey Dillon and Dr. Jim Diffee.
Since we market high-demand consumable products, each month the previous month's volume is there again from reorders. This allows me to focus on taking my business to the next level instead of rebuilding (or starting over from zero). It is a wonderful stress-free feeling to start each month with my bills already paid. The commute from my bedroom to my home office can be taxing though, so I just stop off in the kitchen and get a cup of coffee on the way!
