I've always been a truth seeker and a lover of freedom, and it was that passion that led me to pursue journalism through college and a career where I wanted to follow in the footsteps of Edward R. Murrow. As an investigative journalist for ABC News, I found myself repeatedly on the trail of stories of toxic substances contaminating our earth and contributing to all the chronic diseases we see today. Twenty years ago, we were airing stories where toxins continually seeped into the groundwater in Silicon Valley, CA causing birth defects, disease and other health challenges.

During that time, I also had close friends, family and co-workers who passed away from chronic diseases. It was shortly after getting married and having a child that I came to a decision that I wanted to focus on my life's work and I knew what that was - helping others heal in body, mind and spirit. I knew I wanted to be a force for good and I began my healing practice while I continued working in the corporate world. I had come to a place within myself of knowing that true healing begins with giving on many levels. I was guided not to charge for energy healing and knew this was a golden opportunity to share and give many of life's gifts to others in need. I feel our world is shifting into a new consciousness and to stay aligned I joined others around the world who hold the vision: be the change you want to see.

It seems with each passing day, more and more people are becoming aware of the toxic burden we carry. In my healing practice, I see many people who are trying to detoxify, but not necessarily in a healthy way. When my friend, Robert Wambach, told me about Waiora's Natural Cellular Defense back in December of 2005, it was apparent that nature had provided the most eloquent solution of all - an activated zeolite mineral that is capable of safely removing heavy metals and toxins. While I have always thought of myself as healthy, I grew up with five mercury fillings in my mouth. When I took Natural Cellular Defense I felt a great improvement in my well-being within five days. It was goodbye to heavy metal brain fog and hello to energy. I knew that if it could make a difference for someone in good health, it could dramatically help those in greater need. I bought as much as I could afford and began to give it away to those with health challenges.

I had no intention of starting a business as I was just happy to have found the product. But by January of 2006, I had over 200 people who wanted to buy the product and share it with others. Having practiced QiGong for over a decade, then Reiki and Kofutu, I gained a deep understanding of the 'Healing Waters of Life.' Suddenly, a company, whose name means 'the healing waters of life,' arrived in my world. I met with my Waiora upline and one of my leaders and we got together to find the simplest ways to express the power of this amazing zeolite and shared our individual approaches to outreach and educate for the greatest good. I know Waiora is an extension of that outreach - as I give to others, I also receive benefits.

February was spent learning about the compensation plan and understanding company guidelines because, in my first month, I received an immense amount of money in commissions and bonuses and I was fulfilling my own vision. I had spent 27 years helping fulfill many a company's vision but now I was fulfilling my own. When you trust in life and all the good it has to offer, your community takes on a life of its own because it's not about what we have to sell - it's what we have to give. Some members of my community share they have a fear factor; they say they don't know how to 'sell'. Instead of selling, I ask them what compelling factors in their life brought the zeolite to them, how it changed their health, their productivity, their quality of life and to gift their story to others.

All those in my Waiora village share a great truth everyday understanding that through outreach and education, people are empowered to make the decision that's best for them. We have developed into a large community of people who through courage, compassion, creativity, and connection help and support each other. What more can you ask for!

I've covered a lot of bad news throughout my career. Now, I am a part of the good news that frees people so they can be their infinite potential! When someone is in pain (physical, emotional, spiritual), the vitality of ones' whole being diminishes. I strive to get the message out there of the miracle of the body. We know that when someone has toxicity, the body can't do its work. As someone's toxic body burden is removed, everything lifts - one's health, vitality, vibrancy and outlook changes for the better.

I don't look upon Waiora as a business, but as a community of people with a passion for helping others. That's true within my own Waiora village and those who give above me at every level. I am so grateful for the passion and honest tenacity of the leaders in my community. I am so grateful for what they have done and what they have afforded me the ability to do. I'm living the dream! Waiora's fine offering has allowed me to do my life's work to the highest and best good in the deepest truth I was guided to so many years ago. Now, I have the financial freedom to travel, to live on five acres in Oregon surrounded by stunning mountain views, and hold the gift of freedom to help others.
